Getting to the Highlands

Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands has good road, rail and flight links.

Easyjet fly from Bristol, London Gatwick and London Luton, while British Airways takes off from London Gatwick, Orkney, Shetland, Edinburgh and the Western Isles.   To fly from Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford or Southampton try Eastern AirwaysRyanair are the ones you want for flights into Inverness from Liverpool and Nottingham East Midlands. Finally, our Irish cousins have a choice of Flybe from Belfast or Aer Arann from Dublin.  Flybe also fly to Inverness from Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester, Southampton, Jersey and London Gatwick. Wow, what an amazing choice!

To get to Inverness by rail,  Scotrail and GNER provide the rail link. If you fancy arriving first thing in the morning, then perhaps the Sleeper is the answer.

Scottish City Link has a good bus service, as does National Express.  Also check out the Megabus site.

If you need a taxi when you arrive phone (+44)1463 222555 or (+44) 1463 222222.

If you are coming by road the main accesses are:

From Edinburgh - M90 then A9

From Glasgow there is a choice of routes. The most direct is A/M80 to Stirling, then the A9 to Inverness via Perth. Or you can indulge in the scenic delights of the A82 via Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and past Fort William and Ben Nevis, then skirting the western side of Loch Ness virtually all the way.

From Aberdeen - A96 to Inverness

From the south - M1/A1 to Edinburgh then as above, or M6/M74/M73 then A/M80 and onward as above.

If you are on the A862 Inverness to Beauly road, look for signs to the Moniack Winery. This will lead you towards Cabrich. Keep a look out in the area for a lot of outbuildings with RED ROOFS. We are the only one in the area with RED ROOFS, so you’ve found us.

Cabrich Signpost

We can be found near the village of Beauly, but as you can see, we are ideally placed to go anywhere in the Highlands.

This is the sign post about 3/4 of a mile from us. If you get this far, just follow the arrow to Cabrich.
